Chiltern Computers provides computer repair, IT support, custom PC builds, and related technology services. All services are subject to availability and our technical capabilities.

2. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are provided in good faith based on initial diagnosis. Final costs may vary if additional issues are discovered during repair. We will contact you before proceeding with any work that exceeds the original estimate.

3. Warranty

We provide a 30-day warranty on repair work performed. This warranty covers the specific repair carried out and does not extend to other components or pre-existing issues. Custom builds include manufacturer warranties on individual components.

4. Data and Privacy

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, we recommend backing up important files before any repair work. Chiltern Computers is not responsible for data loss during repairs. We do not access, copy, or retain personal data unless required for diagnostic purposes.

5. Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair or service provided. We are not liable for consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss beyond the direct cost of our services.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards. For custom builds, a deposit may be required before ordering components.

7. Uncollected Equipment

Equipment not collected within 30 days of completion notification may be subject to storage charges. After 90 days, uncollected items may be disposed of at our discretion.
